DIY BATH SALT
I don't know about you, but me, after coming home from work and walking outside at -25 degrees I need a hot bath and a hot chocolate. Who doesn't love a hot bath ! And how about adding some Epson salt and essentials oils for distressing, pain relive and skin softening
Making bath salts is so , so EASY and I am going to show you my favorite recipe. There are many variation on the internet but for my recipe you need only 3-4 ingredients.
So, here is the recipe:
- 2 cups of salt ( You can use Epson salt or sea salt)\
- 1/4 baking soda
- 10 drops of oils based on preference (I used citrus and DDprime oil from doTerra
for calming and detoxifying properties)
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and store in an air -tight jar.
Any type of oil that is safe for skin use can be added to a salt bath. You can use lavender oil , peppermint oil
Remember that oil and water don't mix so add the oil to the salt and then add the mixture to the water.
Mix very well if not the oil is not going to spread equally
This is the finish product. If you want to make it more fun you can add food coloring
I hope you will try it and share which is your favorite recipe.
Thank you for passing by and have an amazing day
